This addon is a plugin. You need to extract it to your
/plugins folder to install it.
This extension replaces the default Vanilla "Edit", "Delete", "Delete Discussion", and "Quote" links with graphic buttons on comments. Two button sets are included.
Buttons are designed to work with the default Vanilla theme. The CSS can probably be tweaked to work on other themes.
Extension uses CSS to do the work. Tested on Safari (Mac), Safari (iPhone), IE8, FF3.5, and Chrome.
The "Edit" and "Delete" buttons should work on all installations.
The "Quote" button will appear if you are using the:
QuoteText extension (by Jazzman).
AjaxQuote extension (by scip)
If you have a different quoting extension, you can modify the CSS to accommodate it. If you can figure out the changes necessary
for another Quote extension, let me know and I'll be happy to include it in the CSS.
Version 1.0.2: Split the CSS into two files. One for each button set. Config instructions in the Readme and default.php files.
Version 1.0.3.: Minor CSS tweak to remove dotted lines around links in Firefox.
Fixed CSS that caused horizontal scrollbar problems with IE8.
