This addon is a plugin. You need to extract it to your
/plugins folder to install it.Adds your images to Category header.
use version 1.1 of this plugin for vanilla version 2.0.18.4
use version 1.2.1 of this plugin for vanilla version 2.1.
it is a good idea to remove the CategoryHeaderImage directory and re-install when upgrading from version 1.1 to 1.2.1 of the plugin, so you use the correct php and css files.

modify your css accordingly e.g.
if you use twitter bootstrap theme you could do something like this in the css
img.catimage {
display:none;
}
div.Content img.catimage {
z-index:400;
position:absolute;
left: 360px;
top: 90px;
display:inline;
}
create your own images for each category.
name the images image1.png image2.png, etc and place in the img directory in the plugin.
use the plugin settings to add the categories.
allows for 6 category images
notes: for more than 6 categories
instructions in default.php to add more categories
if adding more categories also make changes in config.php
v 1.2.1 modify class.categoryimageheader.plugin.php to trap asset name (thanks to x00 for the help here) (thx to onlyanexcuse for use of screenshots of site).
