Vanilla won't work with IIS, MySql and PHP on Windows

I installed the latest MySql and PHP on a windows 7 machine with IIS, then Vanilla. Upon starting the installation file, the error appears:
"It appears as though you do not have MySQL enabled for PHP. You will need a working copy of MySQL and PHP’s MySQL extensions enabled in order to run Vanilla."
Unfortunately, if you install PHP with the recommended "fastCGI" for IIS, it does not install the file "php5isapi.dll", which is required by vanilla. Thus, you cannot enable MySQL for PHP. So we're stuck. I read the post at: http://vanillaforums.org/discussion/comment/81948/, but it did not answer the question. Can anyone provide a workaround or a version of Vanilla other than vanilla-1.1.10 that will work on IIS?

Is that mean - that After installation, trying to configure the forum (categories, etc.) - and when I'm about to login - on people.php , will through me onto https link, - and tells me that there is an error.
Also if I go and try to do settings.php first, will redirect to https. link again and telling me:

HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden: Directory listing denied.
    Internet Information Services (IIS)

Anyone can help me how can I setup the forum - as the installation went trough OK - and the index.php looks fine, but when I try to login, it's daft. Also if I click remember password - again https error.
Where is this coming from?! help please.
