Just setup the forum and added few posts but can't make extensions work.

I don't know why directions adding extension or add-on are not clearly mentioned on this forum!

I've copied all the addons folders into extensions folder but can't see them in the panel. The conf folder is 777 ...

What's wrong and where?

Any ideas?
