Refresh Comments fatal error

When using Vanilla 2 and enabling the "Refresh Comments" setting which can be found in the Forum General settings I get this error when visiting a discussion:

A fatal error occurred while processing the request.
The server returned the following response: parsererror

Is anyone else having this issue? Please help!

    It is a bug that has been reported, but not fixed yet.

    Thanks Mark. Any idea when this might be fixed? I have a client who really needs this feature.
