Landing on Category Page as a default?

I remember there was an add-on that would make your category page as a default page instead of discussions.
Any idea how I could achieve this with the latest 1.xx version?

Category Page First 1.0 works for me in V 1.10 in my local test environment...
...and on my online test site! (may be turned off in the next few days...)
