problems with notifi

i have had repeated problems with notifi not seeming to work for other users and then suddenly today, it stopped for (seemingly) all users.

has anyone else had similar problems?

is there an alternative way to get email alerts of thread updates?

is there an alternative plug-in to notifi that works in a similar way?

also, is there an easy way to change the message that notifi sends to users?

    i had success deleting this add-on and reinstalling it ... seems to be working just dandy now.
