Discussion Options Failing

When viewing discussions and attemting to alter them using the options in the Options drop-down menu I Receive the following error:
A fatal error occurred while processing the request.
The server returned the following response: error
This occurs using any of the options:
Edit, Announce, Unsink, Close, Delete.
I looked into the XMLHTTPResquest response information and the status is displayed as 404. I assume this is the error. All the actions are successful and the AJAX request does receive the proper JSON formatted text but the page has a 404 status. Any ideas?
