Plugin request: User preference to display embedded data as link
Basically to make threads work-safe, a user should have the ability to both hide images and display embedded data as a link (instead of a still frame from a YouTube video for example). This would be a great plugin but I don't think it needs to be in core.
It would be great if this functionality extended to avatars as that is another thing that could potentially make a site not safe for work.
