Best spyware remover?

I've got some nasties, and Adaware doesn't seem to be spotting them, any other recommendations that are easy to use?

Ok cool I'll try that too... I still have 2 popup things to get rid off
  • M$ Antispyware is best by far... seeing as it was originally Giant owned... Lavasoft Ad-Aware and S&D work well together.
  • But MS Antispyware is made by MS
  • M$ Antispyware is built on GIANT software, very little has changed.
  • What I mean is, it's managed by MS now, they're bound to screw up sometime
  • Oh, for sure :)

I love how everyone thinks badly of microsoft and yet they somehow mystically continue to dominate.

It's kinda like a lovable oaf in movies, he is kind at heart but doesn't know any better, usually when something goes wrong, he is the automatic suspect.

No, I'm pretty sure there's a deal with the devil happening there...

Nah, I just got devil on the phone - gotta have my company some great new deals - and he said that he and Bill Gates have around as much influence so it's not the devil doing the fire and brimstone at redmont.

The thing you have to remember with MS AS, is while it's built by giant, it's been taken by ms and refined for their (reasonably insecure) windows platform. I'm no programmer but i would assume atleast that they tightened it down where they know there are certain weaknesses in the OS. I've certainly been quite happy with it. Before that i used to use adaware which isnt bad but i notice it did miss some stuff and can get a little overprotective at other times.
