I'm pretty sure you need to go to your dashboard and go to your Roles & Permissions.
    1. If you imported your data then your default roles need to be set. There will be a yellow warning on Roles & Permissions with a link to do that.
    2. You need to set the view permissions for each role. Click on each role, set its permissions, and click save.

    Hi

It’s not roles problem I am sure !!

  • hello

    where are you ?
  • Do you mean that you just deleted and then copied the files onto your website?

This leaves the data in the mysql database, and it counts the posts, however the posts will not appear on the discussion board.

To keep all of your data, you must use the exporter, which I think you mean you did not...

Let me make another guess at what's going on. When you want to update to a new version of vanilla (say from rc3 to 2.0). You can do the following.
    1. Make a backup of /conf/config.php
    2. Delete everything and copy the new files over the old files.
    3. Restore your backup of /conf/config.php
    4. You should then be 90% done.
    5. Finally, browse to /utility/structure and run the changes.
If you are deleting absolutely everything between updates then you might be losing data.
