do you want vanilla without login or a single-sign-on. So log in on the one application and be logged in into the other to?

you'll need to download and install this plugin on your vanilla 2 forum: http://vanillaforums.org/addon/472/vanilla-proxyconnect

however, once installed, you need to configure it which requires being able to create a new page on your application that can exchange login-data with vanilla 2. the instructions for what this page should output is here: http://vanillaforums.org/page/singlesignon
