General Vanilla 2 Upgrade Questions

Hi there.
We have some questions regarding the moving of an existing vanilla 1.1.10 community to 2.x
- What happens with inline whispers and whispered threads? Will they be imported, too? And if so, will the be safely imported. Meaning not showing up in public or to the wrong user.
- Is it possible to import only selcted discussions?
- Are there any tips or do's and dont's we have to keep in mind? (besides the totally obvious stuff like backing up databases etc. ... ;) )

- Whispers are imported as private conversations.
- No. It will import everything in your database. You're need to prune it before or after the import.
- I highly recommend doing several test runs with a copy of your forum (preferably on a separate server). Never-ever do a major operation like this without practice.
