Recent Activity in Sidebar

This discussion is related to the VanillaForums.org (old blue) addon.

Has anyone gotten recent activity to show up in the sidebar? It seems to be built into the theme but I can't figure out how to embed it into the sidebar

Same here. I'd like to customize the default theme to add the Recent Activities box in the sidebar. So I downloaded this theme and looked for a hooks.php, but it doesn't exist and the Recent Activities box is not shown on that theme too.

Any help?

Great add-on! Is there a way to make it only appear on the front page, and not on category pages/posts?
