Theme Problems with All Categories Front Page

This discussion is related to the Rounder addon.

Since the 2.0.17 update, I attempted to set the front page as the All Category page. When I try to navigate to it, I get an error of:
Fatal error: Call to a member function NumRows() on a non-object in [my forum folder]/themes/rounder/vanilla/views/categories/all.php on line 8

Also, the root category is displayed in the category sidebar, and the manage category page of the dashboard is non-functional. I think the update pretty much broke this theme.
