Quote plugin not functioning as intended. Quoted text appears in mid-box.

I'm using the CLEditor and the Embedded Theme.

When I click on "Quote" to quote a comment, the quoted text appears in the comment entry box about half-way down into the box and indented about a half inch.

I am able to type above the quote (which has no effect and the typed words do not appear on the new comment). I'm assuming this is not the intended effect?
