Thumbnails are getting distorted

This discussion is related to the User List addon.

I am finding the thumbnails displayed are completely distorted. The plugin is taking the original user picture (which is portrait shape for me) and not the square thumbnail chosen by the user (which is purposefully square), and then simply squeezing the image down to a small thumbnail.

In fact, it is even worse - the thumbnails in the plugin module are not just representative of the original images, they *are* the original images, full size. No wonder my page took so long load!

Try a right-click->View Image in FF on one of the thumbnails to see what I mean.
