Stream of all Comments whatever Discussion they belong to
Is there a feature (or a addon, or a hack, or …) that lets a user view all recently posted comments in a vanilla forum, whatever discussions they may belong to?
I think of page with a kind of stream of comments, sorted by date, in which the comment's category is just another meta information. There could be an excerpt of the comment (the first three lines) or maybe the whole text.
Like this, users would have the possibility to monitor changes on the forum (like the yellow »2 new«-fields) and at the same time see the content of the comment.
At our forum, they requested this feature alot, but I didn't find any addons which could make this feature happen. Do you have any idea?
