Discussions started when a comment is flagged don't increment discussion count in category list

In the admin you can create a discussion automagically when something is flagged by a user.

This function works as expected and potentially could be very useful, except that the discussion count in the category panel doesn't increment when you flag something, even when the page is refreshed or the user moves to another page.

Pretty sure something is wrong here - but I don't know if maybe this is something that has been fixed already in a later release; I am on 2.0.17.8
