Link to last post of a topic from latest comments list (All Topics)

We have the normal list of latest posts on the front page of the forum but we are getting complaints that the link to the topic takes you to the front page of what could be 5 pages of posts.

The normal behaviour is to go to the last post of the topic so you can start replying to it.

My thoughts are the "Most recent by xxxx" link should be going to the last post in the topic and not to the profile of that member.

Any help would be great thx

Vanilla jumps to the last unread post which is certainly the best UX.

Yep it would be but it doesn't do that on our forum unfortunately - it just goes to page 1, post 1 every time.

Also, have a look for this config setting:

$Configuration['Vanilla']['Comments']['AutoOffset'] = TRUE;
