"Passwords don't match" even when they do?

I keep getting "Passwords don't match" on my registration page. Even when the passwords do match. So now the registration won't work. Any ideas?

Passwords are case sensitive. Other than that, I have never seen this as an issue so I'd really double check to make sure you are entering things properly.

Getting same issue on new theme we have done. Will clean ini files and local cache

Also noted register captcha is nigh on impossible to read. I reckon, if Google decided to twat about with recpatcha, the worlds forums and sites ( 90% + ) of them would be inaccesible.
