Problem: Quote pyramids

This discussion is related to the Quotes addon.
So when users post a quote within a quote within .... a quote etc. It forms a pyramid. is there any way to set the quote plugin to purge nested quotes and only include the top tier?

also is there a way to hide images within quotes?

    i have same problem, when quote is in quote then display only first quote

    i just defined .userquote .userquote as hidden. do you need me to dig up the actual CSS?
