Does vanoogle index your forum onto their public search?

This discussion is related to the Vanoogle addon.

basically as google indexes your site through vanoogle, will it supply those results and pages to its public search, so anyone could see forum results? I'm hoping not, as my forum is a closed forum for our company, and not appropriate to be visible to the outside world. To that end the forum is hidden from the outside world by a site password and IP blocking - will vanoogle work through that?

Not sure about that. Vanoogle is just a plugin that adds a google custom search to your forum.

You might ask in here: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/customsearch/?hl=en
if having google index your private site is possible, but I doubt it is.
