Activity feed development
I read somewhere in the forum that you are in rethinking the implementation of activities and activity feed. I'd like to add some of my observations that you are maybe already aware of, though, could be useful to summarize them and also others may contribute to this topic to get the most out of activity wall and feed in future releases and versions.
1.
Sometimes, activities are doubled.
2.
When I comment on a discussion that was created by someone else, sometimes I see the activity "You commented on your bookmarked discussion.", sometimes I see "You commented on sy's discussion.".

When I comment on a discussion that was created by me,
- I see "You commented on your bookmarked discussion." even if it's not bookmarked
- $Activity->RegardingUserID gets filled with a userID that has nothing to do regarding the discussion instead of filling $Activity->RegardingUserID with my userID. (This later on leads to $IsYou getting a wrong value.)
4. Activity sentences should be more flexible and customizable so that people speaking other than English could read activities easier and enjoy using the forum better.
