Forum Members Editing Posts

Hey All. Just transitioned to Vanilla 2 and trying to understand the permissions. I want to be able to let individual users edit their own posts, but my understanding is if I allow they to "edit" posts under the role permissions section, they will be able to edit all posts. Could someone enlighten me on how this works? Or how I can get it to work? Thanks.

They'll be able to edit their own post by default, unless you set the timeout to zero under Forum -> Advanced.
