Is there anyway to place the LIKE button on the first page of the thread only?

This work great on the first page. It pulls the original authors avatar and posts it great on Facebook.

My issue is that if you hit the like on the second page - it'll pull the avatar for whoever was the poster on top of the page.

So, I'd love to have the like button only appearing on page 1.
