How to Backup my Database?

Hi All,

I want to upgrade my forum, and it says in the instructions (Backup your DB). I couldn't find the option in the Admin Dashboard, nor could I find a folder named (Database) in my FTP Root.

How can I backup my Database?

    This is something you'd need to do via your hosting control panel. There's frequently an option to get into phpMyAdmin, which is a popular database management tool. Then you select your database and choose "Export".

    Most people run scared when they read the word export. As in everyday use, export means to send something somewhere .. meaning it no longer resides where it "was"

    But Lincoln is dead balls accurate, phpmyadmin is your friend.
