File Upload BBcode compatible

Has someone modified the File Upload plugin to run with BBcode-tuned Vanilla?
The plugin uses an HTML parser to insert the image: I need it to use the BBcode [img] and [/img] tags natively.

Would be a cool addition for it to check the default formatter and use the appropriate insertion. It's in the Addons repo on GitHub if anyone wants to take it on.
