error during install of plugin

i get this error when i try to enable the plugin FATAL ERROR IN PHP REQUIRMENTS. How to slove this?Thank you

    check out the php version installed on your server and check which version of vanilla you are running

    I am running Vanilla 2.0.11 . How can i uodate vanilla?I will not lose my forum comments?

    you will have to make sure you create backup of each and everything - files, database, each folder - even the uploads, before you perform any upgrade.
