[Solved] Facebook connect - UniqueID : PHP Compile error that wasn't showing up in the log files*

Hi Everyone

I'm getting the "UniqueID is required" error when I try and log in to my site using Facebook connect (www.haveawhinge.org).

Things I have checked: - Facebook app appears to be setup correctly - URL matches (exactly) the URL in the Facebook app (http://www.haveawhinge.org/) - Application ID and Application Secret do not have whitespaces

I am using Vanilla 2.0.18.2

I apologise if this is an issue that is under investigation - I just get mixed messages from the Community forums.

Any thoughts?

Do you get any warning or errors when you save the setting on the Facebook app?

Check these setting are correct:

App Domain: haveawhinge.org Site URL: http://haveawhinge.org/

I know had a problem similar and checking these were correct fixed it.

Yep I've got that in there. (have tried http://www.haveawhinge.org/, http://haveawhinge.org/, removed the trailing slash, etc... no go.

Anything else? (Thanks for the replies)

Yes, it was working on my localhost but not my live site. Here is a fix that I have just tried and is working on my live site now.

It still doesn't seem to be working for me - when it says "OpenSSL feature is enabled for Curl" - what specifically does this mean?

I have OpenSSL and Curl installed (EasyApache)...

Just wondering what else the problem could be.
