Split : Facebook Connect : UniqueID required

I am getting an error that a UniqueID is required. I am using the app I created just for the vanilla facebook login integration and set it up just as the instructions said. Is this a common problem and how can I fix it? I've been searching the forums and trying different solutions in older posts, but none have helped yet :( Any help would be appreciated. This is a plain fresh install with no other plugins enabled yet.
