Session Integration? Plugins this board uses?

Hey folks, I am really impressed by Vanilla Forums and really hope to see it grow bigger and bigger because it really rocks. I have a couple questions however.

First, is there a possible way to integrate sessions easily somehow? Eg. To check if a user is logged in or not on an external page?

Also, What kind of plugins does vf.org use? There is a number on here I'd like to use myself. Thanks!

There are several plugin options for Single Sign On.

ProxyConnect or JS Connect are the way to go for connecting to your own in-house system. ProxyConnect worked best for integrating with my LDAP-based authentication , but it required a bit of work building the proxy.

You can also use social networking providers to login with these plugins:
