Hide 'Discussions' link from appearing when user is not signed in

At the moment, the 'discussions' link is displayed in the menu when the user is not signed in. I want this to be hidden until the user signs in.

Any ideas as to how I can do this? I'm guessing some changes need to be made to the menu in the default.master.php, but I'm just not sure what?

There are links added with and without checking for a valid session... move this to the group that checks for the session.
