I'm running two seemingly identical environments of 2.1a24.1 — my local development (MAMP OSX) and production (Rackspace Cloud). Whenever I create a post on the production environment, the text will display a slash in front of quotes or apostrophes. When I create a post on the development environment, it's fine.
I've replaced the files on production, cleared all cache folders, and I still can't figure it out.
I found a user with a similar problem but it was for a very old 1.x version of Vanilla. Makes me think this is something apache or php server-side?

They also made at least 1 new revision in which that solution is placed : 2.1a25 or higher.
What to do if I get a Bonk Error?
