how to add meta tags to categories
hai friends i am using the latest version of vannilla ,i would like to know how to add seperate meta tags like descriptions and keywords for each categories just like each threads

Categories are a way to provide hierarchical order to the flat discussion list provided by Vanilla. Tags embrace the flat hierarchy and by providing multiple labels for every discussion.
That said, I do not understand what you are trying to do.
