System User Account

Vanilla 2.1

System user account has email of system@domain.com which is a valid email, since domain.com is a valid domain. Potentially bad for resetting the password of the "System" account.

    re: none.com

the rhetorical question: why are you setting password for System in the first place?

it is a system account and you should not login as that user System, as far as I see it.

but if you set password in dashboard you can choose not to send e-mail

also file it on github as an issue. That is what github is for.

click the option toggle and create issue after you are logged in to github.

    suggestions from rfc http://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc2606.txt

might be apropos for e-mail as well

To safely satisfy these needs, four domain names are reserved as
    listed and described below.

                  .test
                .example
                .invalid
              .localhost

    .

".test" is recommended for use in testing of current or new DNS
      related code.

".example" is recommended for use in documentation or as examples.

".invalid" is intended for use in online construction of domain
names that are sure to be invalid and which it is obvious at a
      glance are invalid.

The ".localhost" TLD has traditionally been statically defined in
host DNS implementations as having an A record pointing to the
loop back IP address and is reserved for such use. Any other use
would conflict with widely deployed code which assumes this use.

no problemo, I figure you have problems getting on to github yourself because of the antlers.
