issues with wordpress plugin.

I have a fresh wordpress install and a fresh vanilla install, when I go to setup the plugin it gives an error saying the vanilla forum cannot be located at my url.

my url is scootnashville.com and my forum is at scootnashville.com/vanilla

does anyone have an idea of how i can sort this out?

i should add that i have read past issues with this, and curl is installed on my server.

Thanks for that link, I just uploaded that plugin and am getting the same issue.

Is there anything else you can think of that I can try?

Do any of the widgets / embedding work?

The embedding does not, nor do the widgets. When I try to add my forum URL I get this error:

Looks like your host has blocked loopback requests. I just checked with vanillas fetchpageinfo utility:

http://scootnashville.com/vanilla/utility/fetchpageinfo.json/vanillaforums.org
This works, it can find this forum.

This doesn't. It returns "Softaculous Webuzo | Default Website Page"

I know this is slightly out of scope of getting help with Vanilla, but this is on a VPS, do you know how to enable loopback so I can use this plugin?

Sorry, no idea. This is usually disabled for security reasons (can be used to circumvent max_execution_time / make recursive requests)
