I believe they are set to no follow by default.

links are already no follow in post.
If you want to make all links not follow you are going about the wrong way.
You should use robots.txt and also meta tags
grep is your friend.
oh yes i see they already are.
i suppose this means people trying to spam with external links can't negatively impact the forum site?
the only way to negatively effect a forum would be to post bad characters and mass texts of crap ?
