Will there be Ranks in Vanilla ?

I couldn't resist asking this, I put it in the random category so nobody would cut my fingers off for asking such a stupid question lol runs and hide

I guess Ranks may serve some purpose, or perhaps a subtitle to classify user groups ?

ie

guest "i'm a newbie"
member "i'm been doing this awhile"

you could manually assign ranks as roles and have the role tagline the little phrase you have used as an example. I am sure it would not be hard as an extension to check post count ever once and assign different roles depending on the data retreived.

I am pretty sure the answer is: "No, not in the Vanilla core; yes, as a possible extension", but I could be wrong.
