Adding advertisements to left column

Underneath the options and nav area of the left column, I'd like to add in Google verticle ads and other ads/banners. Hi omfg, For the ADiamondImage.com site? I'm building all the pages in HTML and then I use Mals-e for the cart.

How does that work without being a script? Do you host your site there?

I simply add HTML buttons for buying and they link to the cart with my variables. The cart itself is served from the mals-e server.

So then when people check out and stuff they leave your site?
Why not just use the Paypal shopping cart.. -
They don't know they're leaving my site. It redirects them back after it has processed payment. I have had problems with PayPal in the past and have heard from customers that they prefer not to use it. I needed something that would link into my CC payment gateway. Do you use PayPal cart?

I am coding my own shopping cart / inventory system, but am always on the watch for something that can solve my needs for me.
