Updated to 1.1.2, now get error message

I followed the update instructions, but now when I go to the site I get "Fatal error: Cannot use object of type Context as array in /home/.keerokee/baba/esotericteaching.org/vanilla/library/Vanilla/Vanilla.Functions.php on line 21" Got a clue what is the fix for this? Can I reinstall Vanilla and keep my database files? thanks, David
