Making a discussion a whisper

Hello, sometimes people forget to insert a name to whisper to resulting in a public comment. I than help them out with making it a whisper. This is not possible for a discussion, but only for a comment. Is this a bug or meant to be like that? Regards, Tex

    I think it works on a discussion if you edit the first comment?

    I dont think you can whisper discussions because there may already be other parties involved in it. It has been suggested in the past that vanilla works out whether anyone else has posted and then lets you have the ability to change it to a whisper based on that but i dont think it ever got put into practice.

    That makes sense, I couldn't check it as I have whispers switched off on my forum.

    Not possible from what I can tell without an add-on and none like this exist yet. Once the discussion is made it's pretty much impossible to reverse it into a private whispered discussion.
