I can't check for updates

not much of a clue I'm afraid - when I click on the "check for updates" button I get a popup error

Error:
First|Vanilla is up to date.

it then fails to check any of my extensions

any ideas?

I have a similar problem. In my case, the update check for Vanilla itself works, but the extensions refuse to update. I could not solve this problem. This error appeared after moving my Vanilla forum from one web server to a different provider's server.

Same problem here... Both in an 1.1.3 and a 1.1.4-forum, altough the error message looked differently in the 1.1.3-forum.
