Removing quote nesting/pyramids in HTML

Is it possible to do this? There are many times where 5+ quote pyramids are created, and it gets really annoying.

Something like this: Quote Depth
Except for HTML.

    Might be a easy way to block them with css... something like .CommentBody blockquote blockquote blockquote blockquote { display: none; }

    Add that to themes/vanilla/styles/default/vanilla.css and see what happens.

    well, im trying to have it default to the last quoted item like the extension does.
