Use subfolders

edited April 2009 in Vanilla 1.0 Help
Is there any way to have the main content starting in a subfolder of the filebrowser install files, and also have it make the thumbnails in a subfolder of the install files? For example have in a directory have all the filebrowser files And two folders - one for thumbnails and one for the pictures. I want it this way so that I can use it with Cooliris, a firefox plugin.

  • Hello???
  • "have it make the thumbnails in a subfolder of the install files" No doubt there is a way, but you had to rework index.php and thumbnailer.php dramatically. "to have the main content starting in a subfolder of the filebrowser install files" Not sure what you mean by this. I thought this is already supported. For example you could link to http://example.org/folder/?did=0 where http://example.org/folder/ contains the FB files, but the link (did=0) will cause the FB to show the first subfolder (did=1 = 2nd subfolder, etc). Is this what you are looking for?
  • yes. Thank you.
