need a good compression software

i just came to see a 938 mb software compressed to 80 mb i looked around in google but no good cud sum1 pls suggest me sum good compression sofware other than winrar(not really god at all) winzip(worst) kgp archiver(took 28 hrs compressing my 2gb file saving about just 534 mb
7zip(not really that good) pls suggest me sum cood software

    Depends what you're compressing - but I personally don't see what the problem is with either WinRAR or 7-Zip - they're both very good general compressors in my experience...
