Error authenticating Admin user on Import

Hey guys, I keep getting the following error on import of data

“Sorry, no account could be found related to the email and password you entered.”

I am using these instructions http://vanillaforums.com/blog/help-topics/importing-data/

I keep entering the admin email and password but to no avail. ?
Anyone else having this problem ?

    You need to enter the email/password from the account in the exported forum. Make sure you know the email/password before you do the export.

    no luck ..I do know the email and password of the admin user ..
    does it matter that is is a vbulletin 4 forum ?

    Same problem

    IPB 3.1.2 > VB 3.8...done

    VB 3.8 to Vanilla ... failed

    “Sorry, no account could be found related to the email and password you entered.”

    i check email and password, tried all options. no luck

    it looks like error in VB export/import script,
    i tried to change pass hash manually,

    i think, vb script messed up usernames and passwords

    script export and import from bbpress works fine

    today i tried to enter password hash (without salt) as password... it works and i have done converting.
    i think, it's very very strange.

    I've tried hash without success for phpBB 2.0 - what else can I try to pass this check for Administrator email and password? I tried even login of administrator instead of email but also without success. I can't continue with migration to Vanilla without passing this error.
