Youtube in Posts: Permissions issue

edited August 2011 in Root
How can I allow regular users to post videos without having to use all sorts of BBCode/spans/etc., the way it works for administrators?

I'm trying to figure out why the administrator is able to post Youtube videos directly and have them parsed automatically (and embedded in the page), but the users aren't. I can't find any settings or permissions that seem relevant.

I'm using Version 2.0.17.10, and I have the CLEditor jQuery WYSIWYG plugin installed.

  • Well, it's seeming like it's an issue with HTMLawed prohibiting it, but the administrator user being allowed around it. How can I fix this?
  • none of it works. I've tried mostly everything on this forum. It just doesn't work, I'm about to move away from vanilla if I cant post youtube videos and be able to watch them DIRECTLY on the forum.
