How can I disable Moderation/Delete Log in Dashboard*

Is there a configuration setting to turn this type of logging off or disable it?

    We don't have a way of disabling the log and don't plan on it.

    If you mean "why" in terms of justication the answer is below.

    I'm not looking for opening the hood per se, I can comment lines in the core as well as anyone else. I was just curious if there was a config.php option. As far as justification, one main one is, why keep the overhead of the table and the processing if you (the moderator of a forum) do not intend to use this feature. Generally one can turn logs on and off in software or modify what they want to log.

    It would be nice one day to have a list of all the ways to modify config.php in one place as far as sorting items, enabling various options, etc. But, perhaps, it might be more fun for some to try to riddle it out.
