      <description><![CDATA[I honestly don't know what this add-on would be called.  I've searched a number of terms but nothing much popups up.  For v1, looking for an add-on that shows forum views how many posts they have posted to the forum...and would ideally like to be able to auto-assign "street cred" labels (i.e. newb, jester, knight, king, demi-god, and chuck norris) to users based on the number of posts/contributions they have made to the forums.<br /><br />Have I completely overlooked this?       <description><![CDATA[I'm trying to update the PostAnonymously plugin to work with Vanilla 2. <br /><br />In vanilla 2 are there replacement events for PreSaveDiscussion, PreSaveComment, PostSaveDiscussion, PostSaveComment?<br /><br />I need to temporarily change the UserID prior to saving the discussion/comment data should the user be posting anonymously, and revert it back after the save has completed. I have the extra  Post Anonymously checkbox in the form via using a Base_BeforeFormButtons_Handler in my version of this plugin, but I just can't seem to find the right hook to do the ID switch. Do I need to override the PostController's Discussion and Comment methods, or their Models methods entirely?<br /><br />Cheers,<br /><br />Derek.<br />]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[I run a Vanilla 1 forum currently but am really keen to try out Vanilla 2 in it's current incarnation... problem is I'm having a nightmare trying to install it!<br /><br />I've encountered many problems, but I've decided to go back to the start and see if I can get some guidance.<br /><br />So - I've downloaded the most recent version, created a database, and gone to the install directory - <a href="http://vanilla2/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://vanilla2/</a> (it's local at present).<br /><br />I am encountering an error page which reads "Bonk" and doesn't really tell me much else! For instance, if you copy style.css and vanilla.css it immediately breaks all the background images and reset.css won't load unless you copy it too (most noticeably breaking the categories list). Those are some pretty big "gotchas" for someone just trying to change the background color.]]></description>

      <description><![CDATA[I've upgraded from 1.1.4 today (I did it step-by-step through all of the versions) to 1.1.10 but when I check for updates Vanilla 1.1.10 is labeled as 'unknown' and all my addons just remain 'checking for updates' but never resolve.<br /><br />Can anyone give me some advice on this... should I disable all my addons and then run an update check or something?<br /><br />I'd love to give Vanilla 2 a try but the installation never works for me however much I read around the forum and follow people's guides :(]]></description>
